Over the last seven months I have been working with a Home Care company in Renfrewshire and Barrhead in Scotland as "Adult Home Care Assistant". During this time, I have developed key knowledge and skills relating to the person-centered home care approach and have been able to properly fit in various aspects of service users' home-life needs. Within my busy role, I manage my time by being able to work independently and unsupervised as well as a team which may include my On-Call Supervisor and Care Manager who are always available should any incident occur. I am kind, compassionate, reliable, dedicated and hardworking and enjoy helping others. I uphold the respect and dignity of all humankind, especially the people I support in their own homes . I realise that I would prefer to develope my skills further in a Live-In Home Care setting where I can make a difference to people who make use of your home care services.
