Hi my name is Lesley.

I have over 14 years of experience in the care sector from elderly care within a acute dementia ward, to a locked psychiatric ward along with community work, within the NHS. I also have experience in personal care having worked all through covid in a community role along with residential care. I believe that a caring role is to give your personality along with experience. I have a great sense of humour and always use this in my roles. I am caring and have a good eye for detail. I do not panic when a crisis occurs, I am able to think on my feet and solve problems without any stress to anyone around me. I am kind hearted sympathetic and take my ti.e with tasks, if that's what is needed. I love to hear life experiences and stories from people I care for. I am knowledgeable with aids and adaptations around the home environment. I am a young 56 year old I did retire a year ago, but feel I need to go back to work as I have alot more to give to others.
