I have worked with a wide range of patients with a variety of mental and physical abilities in my clinical practice as a healthcare student. My communication and empathy skills have been enhanced as a result of this experience. I have found these skills are of the utmost importance for reassuring the patients by telling them what will happen and ensuring that they are comfortable. Putting the patient first and considering their needs is extremely important to me. During an any care , I feel that I can be professional and reassuring. Respecting the patient's confidentiality, I also believe it is important to speak with the patient's family members if they need any advice or comfort.
