I am a committed and determined individual with with 8 years experience keen to contribute to the care and support needs of adults with mental health and learning disability as well as those with Dementia. I have experience supporting individuals within the comfort of their own homes, thus I am dedicated with ensuring and maintaining their independence as well as their physical and social needs- thus including support within the community .i.e attending doctors appointments, support with other professional who may be involved. I am an easily adaptable individual who is able to use initiative as well as pay attention to detail thus I am able to notice when an individual requires space or is need of companionship .I am able to maintain a high standard of professionalism however in a friendly demeanour . I currently hold a Moving and Handling certificate, Basic Life Support- I am keen to undertake to take on any training that is required in order to support and meet an individual's needs.
