I am passionate and self-driven Health Care Assistant with 2 years’ experience taking care of the sick and elderly.
I worked with St Gerald Hospital as a support worker assisting patients with stroke, dementia and other care needs. I have helped patients to deal with their problems on a day-to-day basis and to recover, in many cases.
During the period of my services, I observed, monitored and recorded patient’s conditions, provided meal assistance, personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting), medication management, assisted with transfer & mobility and other health care related duties as required. On an average, I was able to help about 60% of my patients achieve tremendous improvement.
