I have supported children and adults with learning disabilities in a work, family and volunteer capacity. Over time, I have worked with individuals of all ages and have provided different types of assistance to help them reach their goals. My main work roles have included providing support with independent living tasks, helping clients to build meaningful friendships and relationships, leading group activities and events, offering emotional support, and providing guidance and motivation. I have also had the opportunity to engage in various forms of advocacy work, including offering support and information to families and professionals. Overall, it has been an incredibly rewarding experience, and I am proud to have been part of the growth and progress of these amazing individuals.
I am naturally a compassionate person and I am always having the interest of my service users at heart.
