I decided to join the care industry professionally after assisting for 4 years caring for an elderly lady (84) who was wheelchair-bound. I consider myself a healthy active individual with a good sense of humour that has been involved with people on various levels my whole working life. Thus giving me an above-average ability to read people and understand their needs.
Starting my working life as a butcher led me to quickly develop a keen interest in cooking all kinds of dishes from roasts, veggies, pastas and puddings. I have evolved to be a handy baker as well.
My Wife ran and maintained a small farm for 7 years, which included repairs and maintenance of the homestead, farm equipment, stables, boundary fencing and gates along with 10 horses, a donkey and our cars and dogs.
Taking long walks, tending to the fruit trees and planting vegetable are some of the hobbies that we enjoy.
