I have worked as a carer for over 10 years, employed by private companies in Surrey, Dorset & Hampshire, specialising in care for the elderly in their own homes. As an agency carer, I have worked for a variety of ages within care & nursing homes specialising in Parkinson's, Dementia and Palliative care.
I have also worked for a local Charity, supporting young adults with learning and physical disabilities (including Asperger's, Autism, Down's syndrome, Epilepsy, Cerebral Palsy) to live in a care setting, or within the community in their own homes.
I enjoy working for one individual, or perhaps a couple, providing a high level of care to suit the client's routine, preferences and choices.
I love dogs and cats, and happy to care for them. Also enjoy helping clients feed their garden birds, and look after their house plants & outdoor pots.
I enjoyed studying O level food & nutrition at school, and like home cooking & baking. I am a non smoker.
