I am a trust worthy, hard-working individual, who has been a devoted housewife for majority of my life making me the primary home carer for 5 individuals and also having experience in end of life care for a loved one. Before beginning my care career, I worked part time roles as a Teacher assistant, Facilities assistant in my local community Centre and a Family support worker - all roles involved me to work with all ages and put their care in my hands. Following my experience, I decided it was time to start working full time as my kids are at university, therefore I began my career in live in care as a PA as cover on someone on maternity leave and was there for four months. After gaining the experience, I realised this the role for me. I am therefore looking to excel in this industry.
