I am a vivacious, resilient, and compassionate character who thrives in a dynamic and fluid environment, as demonstrated by my work in NHS (7 yrs) and volunteering in East Ukraine, Crisis and Habitat for Humanity. I treat with integrity and maintain confidentiality, prioritising providing patient-focused, compassionate and holistic care. I excel in multidisciplinary teams where I am challenged to construct novel, sustainable and effective approaches to both academic and systemic issues.
Working within multidisciplinary teams in Kings Hospital and in Bristol’s Infirmary has encouraged me to communicate effectively and use intuition to work efficiently under dynamic and stressful conditions. My role included personal care, physiotherapy, assisting with radiography and endoscopy, coordinating with families and outpatient teams, monitoring neutropenic sepsis and leading the team on blue light calls. I utilised the last 18 months to specialise in non-invasive ventilation in a respiratory ICU. In Ukraine I trained civilians in combat casualty care, lead medical evacuations, treated traumatic bleeds and haemorrhages in the field and assisted doctors in a military hospital in Kramatorsk.I am patient-focused, compassionate and dedicated to empowering and preserving human life.
