l have over 6 years professional care work experience including 2 years live-in experience supporting a lady with MS, a gentleman with Diabetes and a heart condition, a gentleman with Altzhiemers and a gentleman with a brain injury. Prior to this l worked with people with autism for 4 years, first as an ABA tutor then as outreach co-ordinator in South London for the National Autistic Society. I'm reliable, professional, fit and healthy with lots of energy and a good sense of humour.
I'm a good cook, a conscientious driver and an intelligent and resourceful companion. lm experienced with hoists and slings and personal care. For the lady l supported with MS for 20 months l drove her adapted vehicle and trained 3 other carers for 3 days each.
I've lived in 7 different Asian countries working for the British Council teaching English so lm happy in formal situations as well as meeting the requirements for home based care.
