my initial interest in the health care started at age 18 when my father was diagnosed with prostate cancer and stroke. the hospital environment intrigued me and grew my interest. i was involved in care by attending hospital appointments with him, caring for him, assisting him with personal care, encouraging and motivating him to get on his feet.
i volunteer in supporting people with special needs and i was able to transfer my gained skills in supporting them with meeting their individual needs. i am seeking an opportunity where i can utilize my transferable skills and experience gained personally.
