Hi my name is Rowena
My most relevant training for care was September 2022 where I refreshed my training for first aid, manual handling and dementia care and peg feeding
I am currently updating my care certification
I worked with one client everyday for a period of three and half years who I got to know and loved each day of providing care for her she taught me how to do gardening and love it and I would take her blood pressure readings daily, diabetes level check provide personal care and companionship the person the client had; had a stroke and longed to walk again and over time with working alongside the Occupational Therapist we made this possible.
I love working in care because you can make a difference to peoples life’s and there families life too by easing the pressure of them for them knowing and seeing there loved one is being cared for in a person centred way and within there own home.
