I’m a kind and empathetic person. I recently graduated with a degree in Psychology from Aston University. I started doing domiciliary care in my final year of university and then went on to do live in care at the start of the pandemic.
I genuinely enjoy being a carer because it is more than just a job. It is a meaningful career because I get to add value to people’s lives. I also enjoy being a carer because I also learn from the people I look after. They impart their wisdom to me which has really helped me as a young person.
I treat my clients with dignity and respect. I am reliable and ensure that my clients know that they are safe. Additionally, I don’t hide my bubbly personality as I want my clients to enjoy their life regardless of what health conditions they may have. I want my clients to live their lives to the fullest, whether that involves us watching Eastenders together or doing crosswords or whatever may interest them.
I am a creative person and I love music. I sing gospel music and write my own songs. My faith influences my role as a carer. I show love to everybody and treat everyone fairly with love.
