I'm Isabel, an experienced complex care qualified carer of vulnerable adults. My preference is to be a sole long-term live-in carer providing housekeeping and therapy support without relief, typically for 11 week periods on site and 1 week off. I get pleasure from knowing that my dedication towards the client's well-being, even in challenging times, is often appreciated both by professional and family supporters and it is often only a fundamental change that leads to a new client. The record shows that when I support a client long-term I have replaced other carers who have struggled for a variety of reasons. My clients are respected, stimulated and well cared for, including cuisine as I am a good cook. I keep good daily records for family interaction and with my experience I have identified and acted on my own initiative to improve the client's outlook while reducing potential ambiguities between other supporters.
