I'm a 51 years old Portuguese woman that has been living in Brighton for the last 10 years. During this time I had a small dog walking company but the pandemic along with the fact that my daughter turned 18 and is starting Uni made me rethink my work life and try something new. So for the last year I'm part of a team of carers/pa for a quadriplegic young person. I love what I'm doing and therefore looking for more work in this field.
In the past I've travelled a lot and lived abroad most of my life. My work experience ranges from managing cinemas in Mozambique, to having made property investments in Brazil. I've also cared for one year on a full time basis for my grandmother who suffered from dementia and was bedridden.
I think I'm naturally and by education a caring and empathic person who despite the age is energetic and hard working.
