I am writing in response to your advertisement for the position of Live in Care with interest and would like to apply. You will see from my CV that I have worked as a Care Assistant / support worker for over 10 years. I have done most care jobs including nursing homes, domiciliary care , hospitals ,supported living and live in care. Everything that I do at work serves to full-fill the needs and wishes of the person I support. I work in a person centered way and as part of a team that aims to help the person achieve their goals in a risk assessed and safe way. My duties were administering medication, personal care cooking ,cleaning , paying bills ,making doctor's appointments and sourcing community based opportunities. Working in care over a decade has instilled in me the understanding about both the physical and psychological needs that need to be taken in account. This is why I am able to always do justice to my work.
I would be delighted to attend for interview to discuss my application further.
