I am an professional carer with 5 years experience, working mostly as a live in carer, dealing with dementia clients. I am an English man in his early 50s and pride myself with the ability to create a good repor with the client as quickly as possible. I can understand the clients wishes to remain in their own environment and help wherever possible with the daily routines. I have a gentle, calm manner and able to work under pressure.
I have worked in retail for 25 years, but over the last 5 years found myself drawn to the care sector. I work mainly with clients with Dementia, but also with Parkinsons, Cancer, Strokes and end of life.
I am a good cook and also enjoy gardening. I am able to help with other chores around the house, liaise with professionals and manage appointments you may have.
