I have been a carer since 2003 initially for an agency covering comfort calls and overnight care followed by 2 years as a live in carer.
In 2012 I began caring for clients in their own homes on self directed support.. I have subsequently supported 8 families by caring for their loved one in their own home through palliative care to end of life.
I believe passionately that people should have the choice to remain in their own home and I personally find it very rewarding to enable them to do so.
