I am a hard working individual who is looking to start a career in care. My grandmother recently passed away form vascular dementia and over the last 5 years of her life I saw what a huge difference a live in carer can make to improve someone’s quality of life, by supporting them and allowing them to remain living in there own home. Speaking to those who cared for her and others who work in this sector made me aspire to used the people skills I gained through years working in the hospitality industry to make a difference in other peoples lives by starting a career in care.
