With a fresh insight into the world of care I have developed experience in both Domiciliary and Care Home environments.
During my time I have completed the care certificate and also worked with different teams throughout including nursing, mental health speciality nurse, health and wellbeing teams. Using this time as an opportunity to develop my communication, learning and development. To ensure proper care is given.
Alongside this working with the family of the client has been important to get to know the client themselves where possible. Especially in the cases of dementia in which I can then understand and change the personal communication and interaction to suit the client. Putting them at ease as much as possible whilst delivering on an elevated level of care.
