Hello there,
I'm a 52-year-old woman from Greece. I have worked as an English teacher and a bank employee for more than 25 years. I am also a yoga teacher and a life coach. My late mum suffered from dementia and also had a schizophrenic disorder, I have gained very useful insight on caring for people through this. I have been working in the UK as a carer, in a variety of conditions, from dementia to Parkinson's, Dawn Syndrome, Duchenne syndrome , to cancer and Palliative care, lymphoedema, and many other conditions. I am an excellent cook, a vegetarian myself but cook anything the customer wants. I am willing to make a positive contribution to other people's lives, I find that very empowering.
I am quite knowledgeable in various aspects of life challenges, provide psychological support and promote positivity and independence. I am very reliable and committed, a doer and a problem solver. I have a driving licence, a tiny experience of driving in the UK. I am inquisitive by nature and willing to get more experienced in anything, open to learn new things and willing to contribute positively, to the best of my abilities to people's lives, with empathy and understanding.
