As a carer, what drives keep me going is the drive to make a difference in the lives of others. I believe this is my core purpose which is to fulfil and make a difference in the lives of people especially vulnerable adults and children as well as the elderly adult. I am a caring, passionate and empathetic carer who also loves working as a team. Having gained experience as a carer, I have learnt to use initiative and imagination in helping residents succeed at familiar tasks, support residents in their homes to remain active as much as possible and be independent etc. Working as a carer has given me the opportunity to help residents engage in situations with personal meaning, a sense of community, choices and fun. Yet everyday I still keep learning
