During my training at Citimed Chitungwiza Hospital my responsibilities involved helping patients with personal hygiene and care such as bathing, grooming, and dressing, and bowel and bladder care, taking and recording patient vital signs and weight, observing and recording patients conditions, food and liquid intake and other behavior, and reporting changes to supervisor, helping patients walk with canes, walkers, or other devices, making beds and maintaining a clean and safe environments for patients, lifting, transporting, and moving patients using the appropriate techniques, treating all patients, family, and other visitors with respect and engaging with them in a tactful manner at all times.
