I can work as a health care assistant especially looking after the elderly. I looked after my grand dad who refused to go to the hospital for treatment. I assisted him with washing and dressing up, oral care, every morning before living for work. I prepared food for him and left for him to eat and come home during break to check and change him if he needed his bed changed. I ensured that water was always near him to drink if he needed to. I was able to monitor changes in his condition and called a nurse. This was when he did not open bowel for a week and he was vomiting.
This has given me the confidence to believe I can be a health care assistant in any hospital setting with support and trainings I will get.
I am a hardworking person and I am reliable and dedicated to any job I am doing. I am a good team member too and fun to be with.
I can work very long hours and a caring person, I am full compassion for others and I am able recover quickly from a difficult condition.
