I am a 48 year old Ugandan, a graduate of Statistics who has been practicing IT for the past 25 years. In truth there are very few job opportunities in my country Uganda and I find myself here at this age with almost nothing to show. Career-wise I am satisfied but I have nothing to show.
I would like to come to the UK and make some decent money as a care worker which would also give me an opportunity to try out something new with my life.
Besides my professional training in Statistics and IT, I am a compassionate Catholic and I reckon once trained as a Care Worker, I would find no problem adjusting to the rigors of this work. I believe I can excel if I am enlisted to work in a respectful environment where the worker is well trained and facilitated. I trust that I wouldn't have any issues relating with persons-with-disabilities or the elderly or anyone with physical or mental challenges.
