I've had a successful career as a civil engineer over the last 10 years, and after leaving Australia a year ago I became involved with several volunteering roles. Through this I have enjoyed developing personal relationships with people who are facing their own life challenges on a daily basis. Being a carer is now the direction I want to move in on a full time basis.
