Working in care has given me an understanding of patients with physical conditions and how to look after patient who require complex care. As a carer, I learnt how to help patients to recover and achieve the best state of their health while promoting self-independence as much as possible. Moreover, I also learnt a lot about different health conditions and their complexity. Working as c are worker has improved my communication skills through speaking with various individuals while helping them physically as well as emotionally. It has also enhanced my awareness of confidentiality with clients.I recently completed my foundation year in bioscience . I believe the course has given me an advantage as it encompasses physiology, anatomy and mental health, though not in detail hence why I want to study more on these through pursuing this job role.
