I have been a qualified Welder since leaving school and have done this for the past 20 years and I feel the past few years my heart has not been in this so have wished for a new direction. I would like to do something more fulfilling now in my career and having thought long and hard about what I would like to do. I currently care for my mum as she had a number of disabilities and mobility problems so I have been on hand to help. Seeing the difference I made to her gave me great satisfaction and I feel caring for others Is the way I would like to go. I realise my previous career isn't inline with a carers role but I still feel I can bring qualities to this field.
