I have worked in a Care Home run by a county council and have relevant training for this experience which has given me a good foundation and highly transferrable skills I've brought into the Live in care packages within people's homes . I’m passionate about person centred care and enjoy getting to know my clients on a one to one basis , finding out about their lives and interests and giving them as much chance as they are able to live a quality of life that brings them comfort and safety within their own home .
I like to promote independence wherever possible to give my clients a sense of control over their own lives and personal atomony , this could be something as simple as encouraging them to choose their outfit for the day or what they would like to eat if their capacity is limited .
I’M told that I fit seamlessly into clients lives and I try to be as unobtrusive as possible whilst anticipating needs , wants and safety and being a friend and companion whilst maintaining professionalism and safeguarding standards.
