I am an experienced care assistant having almost 20 years experience. I have worked in domiciliary care, residential care and assisted living. I am a firm believer in person centered care and always give informed choices to service users. I always strive to maintain their independence and dignity. I am trained in medication administration, all personal care including stoma/ catheter care, moving and handling / hoisting and stand aids, I find care work very rewarding and love to see the difference I can make to someone's life. I think it's so important for people to be able to stay in their own home with help and support.
