Hi there,

I have worked in various care settings including domiciliary care, live in care with adults, children's residential care with looked after children and also at a special school residence. Caring was a conscious career change 5 years ago from a busy managerial role in the NHS and I love it!

I am a people person and friends and family seem to mostly appreciate my cracking sense of humour and kindness. I like cooking and can whizz up traditional English food and also other kinds of meals such as pasta, curry and chilli. I am also quite good at troubleshooting household problems e.g. a boiler on the blink. I love pets too. I am interested in what's going on in the world and like to keep up with politics (I'm not preachy though!). I like all sorts of music - my favourite decade is the 1970s. I really enjoy good quality dramas and films. I enjoy bimbling around shops looking for bargains - especially charity shops. I love the countryside - I recently started open water swimming and I am hooked!
