I have a passion to work with people and I find it very rewarding to help people in need, especially the elderly. The experience that I have gained over the years working with eating disorder, mental health, the elderly and dementia clients has given me better knowledge and understanding about this job role. I have worked in a different industry and I did not find it as rewarding. I believe I have transferrable skills and I strongly believe in person-centred approach when it comes to caring for someone. It gives them independence to live their life to the fullest.
