I am a Registered General Nurse with over 30 years of experience. After working in many different areas over the years, I now prefer caring for the older person and have live in care experience.
My experience includes dementia care, care home, nursing home, medical management, diabetes, cardiovascular, mental health. Orthopaedics and rheumatology and it's effects caused by trauma and old age.
I am also a representative for an overseas family who have a loved one in a UK care home. I liaise with staff, assess general well being, nutritional intake, skin condition, medication and report back to the family including photos and videos.
