I have more than eight years of experience as a live-in-carer. I passionately believe in providing quality care to those in need with patience and understanding. I love to help those around me and my clients, and I enjoy listening to older people. I regard myself as kind, considerate, compassionate, and honest, with a good sense of humour.

I am very patient and am always happy to work at my client's pace, following their lead. I take great pride in my work, always doing my best to carry out my duties to the highest standards and always with a smile. I can empathise with my clients and show them the respect and dignity they deserve.

I have worked with people with dementia, Cerebral palsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Huntingdon's disease, diabetes, and other chronic conditions. I am experienced in personal grooming and enjoy helping clients look their best. I can assist with hygiene, toileting, eating, cooking, cleaning and any administrative tasks which need support.

I love looking after other people, and when my children left home, I decided to become a live-in-carer and continue what I’m good at. I'm organised and an excellent cook. I cook well-balanced and nutritional English traditional cuisine. I am also house proud and work above and beyond my call of duty.

I have a DBS, which is on the update service, fully insured and have had the two Astra Zenica covid vaccinations and the booster. I have a personal UTR tax number, am trained, and have many years of experience in the care sector.

I have worked with many clients. I used all kinds of hoisting equipment and wheelchairs. Depending on the client's needs, I have worked with double-ups or alone. I work well with other health professionals and am a team player.

I have also completed the following training.
Care Certificate - 15/09/2022
Individual Courses:
Equality and Diversity, Self Harm and Suicide, Parkinson's' Disease, Autism Awareness, Motor Neurone Disease, Mental Health Awareness, Anaphylaxis Awareness, Down Syndrome, Bipolar Disorder Awareness, Multiple Sclerosis, and Catheter Care.

Please get in touch if you think I could help you. I'm available from the 15th of May onwards for long-term ongoing placement as a live-in carer. However, l do not drive, which hasn't hindered me in previous care positions. I am here to make a difference and bring comfort and joy to those who need my care. Everyone deserves the highest quality of life, and I am determined to ensure that my live-in care clients get the best possible care.
