I’ve worked as a personal assistant and as part of the management team for social care for almost 15years, so I have a wealth of knowledge, not only in the mandatory training good personal assistants will have, but also in how things work and many skills on getting things done! I love supporting people and this is one aspect I miss from the management side of social care.
I have worked in the health and social care sector professionally for almost nine years. However, my caring journey began at 15yrs old, when I began caring for family. Professionally, I have cared for hundreds of service users, from young adults to centenarians with many different illnesses and physical ailments! I have experience with palliative care. In addition to caring, I’ve worked as a recruiter for care workers, as a care manager, scheme manager, set up and managed the entire live in service.
