Dear Sir/ Madam,
I am writing to express my interest in the Live-in Carer / Nursing Assistant position to support clients within the UK. I am a qualified NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (Adults, UK) with 15 years of extensive experience caring for adults in the UK with Dementia, Alzheimer’s, Epilepsy, MS, Catheter management, hypertension, and mobility or cognitive challenges.
I provide compassionate, person-centred care while maintaining a safe, structured, and dignified environment.
I have just completed a one-year contract with Everycare (Central Surrey) Ltd and am now looking to move on. I plan to take a short break and am available to begin new work from the end of February or beginning of March 2026. If needed sooner, in January 2026, I would be happy to discuss arrangements to suit your family’s requirements.
In my previous roles, I have delivered 24/7 support including personal care, medication administration, wound care, mobility assistance, cognitive stimulation, and household management. I collaborate closely with families, GPs, district nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care. I am fully trained in mandatory care certificates, including Safeguarding, Manual Handling, Medication Administration, Infection Control, First Aid & CPR, Food Hygiene, and Fire Safety.
I would be honoured to bring my experience, NVQ-3 qualification, and dedication to support others indeed. I am happy to attend a phone call interview at your earliest convenience, as I am currently taking a short rest in Alicante province, Spain.
Yours sincerely,
Lea / Leocadia Zaplana Aguilar
