My name is Ana, I am portuguese and certified live-in carer. I have been working as a carer first in Portugal, after in UK for about 12 years, with people with dementia ( Alzheimer and Parkinson) I am very energetic, understanding and passionate about helping the patients to live an independent life, as long as possible, I have a sympathetic and positive attitude, cheerful disposition and I embrace all the challenges with good humour. As an art therapist I try to keep the patients interested by drawing, painting, reading, talking and encouranging them to be engaged in several tasks.
