Hi Garry here, I have just seen the position for a live in carer and I am very interested in the role. I have my NVQ level 3 health and social care and full UK driving license and own transport.
I used to work in the youth sector for around 3 years as a trainee development tutor for the Princes trust, working with some of the hardest to reach young people in Merseyside, teaching them a wide range of skills and other personal development, although this isn't exact experience of working within a care home I'm sure I have the mindset and skills necessary for this job regardless of the age or needs of the client.
