I wish to apply for the position of Live in carer.
I have considerable experience of:
* Maintaining the comfort and dignity of clients at all times.
* Hoisting clients onto beds, chairs, commodes etc.
* Administering medication
* Arranging and accompanying clients to hospital appointments and social activities.
* Helping clients to wash, dress and undress.
* Cooking and light domestic duties.
Having worked as a Live-in carer with large agencies and private clients, I am fully aware how important it is to maintain the comfort and dignity of clients.
For the past four years I have been employed by Christies Care Agency and Heritage Living as a Care Assistant working with clients in their own homes. During this time I have provided companionship and emotional support to a wide range of clients, utilised my interpersonal skills by developing strong professional relationships with clients and their families.
