I am in my mid fifties, I have worked in many diverse roles which have included Youth Work, Youth Offending service, I have worked with SureStart as a Family Support Worker and most recently as a Community Support Worker supporting an adult recovering from Mental Health issues.
I enjoy most leisure pursuits, enjoy travelling, walking, hiking and socialising with family and friends.
I am looking for a slight career change in engaging with adults in a home setting or communal setting. I have in the past supported my terminally ill mother for 6 years and I feel I can help to contribute and enhance the quality of those entrusted in my care. I have not done clinical care therefore I hope to find a role that brings about positive changes, build confidence, self esteem and greater independence to the service user in and out of home environment. .
