Having worked in the Housing sector, youth work and care industry for over five years, I am confident my experiences/ skills will be best suited to the above post, as they are transferable skills which directly relates to the duty of a support coordinator in a Young people’s service. Further reasons are enumerated below.
As stated above, I have over five years experience of face to face paid support work, gained from my experiences Look ahead housing and care where I directly support clients with mental health needs in the community. Also at St Mungo’s, I supported clients who had a variety of support needs including drug miss-use, persistent offenders, rough sleepers, and even asylum seekers who have serious social issues.
