RMN just revalidated, working in a private nursing home in the dementia unit, looking to change direction and do live in care, as I want to care, hands on and not manage, as I do at the moment. I have retired once front the NHS, and this time need to work where I feel I can really make difference, which the one to one care. It appears now that it's almost impossible to do this as a trained nurse. At the age of 59, I want to return to why I went into care. All my mandatory trainings are in date and I am fit with no health problems. I am looking for shorter term live in jobs, 1 - 3 weeks, so am hoping that this will be acceptable.
