I am 69 yrs old, I started caring in 2012. To date I am currently working as a live in carer with a care company. I have worked in a two carer position, palative care, companionships, mostly worked with elderly ladies , couples. I have refresher training each year which consists of moving & handling, medication, CPR, dimensha. I would say I am friendly, compassionate, have a lot of patience for my clients and a bubbly personality (so I’ve been told)
My ideal position with a client would be more of a companion, shopping, cooking and general household duties and preferably would be for periods of between 1-2 weeks. I do not have my own car, However I do have a valid UK drivers licence which allows me to drive automatic cars only.
