I believe I can bring my own experiences as well as work experience I have from completing placements, paid work in a care home and looking after my mother.
I am a hard working, caring and patient individual who has a genuine desire to help people. I have previous experience caring for my late mother who had learning difficulties, diabetes and arthritis. My main duties were performing personal care, cooking and preparing meals and accompanying her to doctors appointments. As part of my role I had to be empathetic, patient and understanding and show a lot compassion as a vast majority of the service users had dementia and other complex health needs.
