I am a highly flexible, empathetic and education oriented individual. I relish working as part of a team, but am comfortable working independently also. I pride myself in knowing when to work through issues alone and when to ask for help from senior colleagues to provide safe and efficacious care. I look forward to working in a multi-disciplinary team, where unique and differing perspectives will allow great opportunities to learn and develop.
Though I haven't worked in a healthcare setting, I have however, worked with children and adults with mental and physical disabilities in a group and one to one setting. My role was a teaching one, but involved the provision of a level of care simultaneously to educating. I feel this will give me a grounding to do well in this position.
