I have worked within the social care sector for the past 15 years. Most of this experience has been working with the elderly in various settings i.e. nursing homes, residential homes, domiciliary care and day centres. I have achieved 5 years experience in managing teams which consists of deputy managers, administrators, care workers, nurses and auxiliary staff. I have been working with CSCI (now CQC) since 2003 and have a full understanding of the requirements and standards that need to be met. I am a hands-on manager that believes in setting clear objectives and performance management. I have the relevant skills required to work in the healthcare sector; good organisational skills, communication both written and verbal, interpersonal skills and I am a proactive forward thinking individual with a friendly and approachable attitude towards others.
