I have previously worked as a carer where I learnt to cope extremely well with a very hectic working day, visiting up to 6 clients a day, with roles including home care, personal care and companionship, giving me essential time management skills. Although I had many clients to attend to, I ensured to still provide high quality care and build strong relationships with each and every client, and where possible try to build their independence. Making time to learn about each clients individual needs and adapting to their own living spaces effectively allowed me to improve clients reassurance. I understand that a live-in role will be a new challenge for me but I am keen to learn and develop my skills further to provide the highest quality care.
