As a mature carer I believe in treating others as you would wish to be treated yourself - with kindness, patience, dignity and with utmost respect at all times. I have over 15 years as a live in carer in the South West, but these days I work almost exclusively in Cornwall.
In the any years I've been a carer I have not only gained a lot of varied experience, but I've also come to realise the importance of being able to adapt to each of my client's individual needs. As most of my previous positions have been long term, I developed very close bonds with my clients and their families (as my references will attest to). My previous clients have appreciated the fact that I enjoy cooking, and can produce a fairly wide variety of English and French cuisine. Besides cooking I enjoy varied music & TV programmes; reading, jigsaws, board/card games and cryptic crossword puzzles.
I have excellent checkable references from previous clients; doctors; and clients' close family.
