I have worked in care for over six years, working in different areas of care included, care homes, rehabilitation, independent living, private, live-in-care and is currently working as an NHS Mental Health Support Worker. I am very empathetic, dedicated and compassionate with the ability to understand and share others feelings. I have an inbuilt passion for making a positive difference in people's life through care and commitment, understanding and respect, with dignity patience while maintaining professionalism by respecting boundaries and confidentiality whilst creating a warm and caring environment. and empathy. Live-in-Care has been one of the most rewarding experience for me as my work stands out more when working on my own. My work has been highlighted positively by those I cared for over the years and was rewarded a few times for going the extra miles. . I am of medium built, of Irish and Caribbean decent, a very clean and tidied carer whom has always being admired by employers/ clients I cared for.
